On Sunday night, I closed the store for 2 weeks. I realized as I am are sure you have, the most effective way to minimize risk of the virus’s transmission is to reduce density and maximize social distance. I feel a responsibility to do our part and not put our beautiful customers or beloved team in a potentially harmful situation. You and your families safety and health is most important.
Our online business is up and running and discounted 50% off. To help folks stay safe online items will still be shipped, or we offer at store pickup (no need to leave your car). You can text 714-928-0605 for a video or FaceTime appointment (I am ok to go to the store).
I know so many of you and your families will be missing out on significant moments in the near future. This has impacted my family and staff as well, I have so many high school and college Senior girls and Moms on my team. This is difficult and sad and really hard to accept.
While it is okay to be sad about these losses, it is also important to see the sun. We are healthy, and we are in a place where we can safely wait this out.Thankfully we all have our beautiful families and each other.
As I look for the silver lining, heartfelt and real things are happening in our community. There are wonderful stories of neighbors shopping for the elderly, of schools using buses to deliver food to children who are off from school, and people sharing with strangers. Although these times are frightening, look to the sun, there are heroes among us.
“Keep your face to the sun and you cannot see the shadows.“ -Helen Keller
Stay healthy and safe my friends. Much gratitude and thanks, Kelly Cason
